Outpost Firewall Pro is a shareware program for Windows. It makes simple and easy for us to maintain our computer safe, protected, and keep it far away from external attacks, such as viruses, Trojans, adware, malware, spyware and all types of unsolicited activities while connected to the Internet both at work and at home. This program suits for both novice and advanced users, and its interface can be switched from a simple view to advanced, and vice-versa. Firewall Pro is divided into the following categories and sub-categories: My Security (Status), Firewall (Network activity, and Used Ports) Host Protection (Process Activities), Anti-Spyware (Quarantine), Web Control, (Online Activity) and Event Viewer. This program can perform on-demand scanning for spyware. It lets us choose which type of scan we prefer: Quick Scan, Customized Scan, or Total Scan. Once the scan results are displayed, we can delete, leave into quarantine, or restore the spyware, adware and any other suspicious items found. Firewall Pro can be installed in several languages. It is possible to download and evaluate this program free of charge for a whole month. It runs under Windows Vista, XP, 2003, and 2000 operating systems. |
